    I’m ofended by this even though I’m not gay. The amendments says all men (meaning pretty much all humans) are created equal which means everyone should have the same rights. So gays have all the rights straight people do and the should have the right to marry whoever they’d like to just like anyone else. It’s only fair that they can. It’s their right and you can’t stop people from loving whoever they want to love.

    @cbstrange4 Civil unions? No. Personal relationships are private not public. Marriage is not a business contract. Get rid of marriage, divorces, lawyers, and courts. Why involve the full power of the public state into my private relationships where they have no business interfering with my personal freedom. I want government out of the bedroom. I own myself. I am not a slave to government. I am not the property of government because I am not a criminal.

    Rainbowinthestorm 916, the only people who argue against gay marriage (as far as I can see) are indeed religious people, so God has a lot to do with it! If we put God aside, there’s nothing wrong with it.

    I’m not saying that gay marriage is wrong (not at all!). I’m just saying that God has a lot to do with the arguing…although God also tells religious people NOT to argue about what He says. So…? *shrug*

    We should stop fighting against saying it’s ok for a gay man to see his partner in the hospital and START fighting against stuff that’s actually hurting people!

Look up the chapters in the bible that talk about being homosexual, and tell me if I am the one that said it was wrong or GOD himself?
