In other words, just be careful and remember... caveat emptor (let the buyer beware). Some women in the States get ticked off about guys going overseas and think they are buying a woman or the woman are being taken advantage of or are indentured servants. The women who feel this way are wrong and have issues. This is just a rationalization for the fact that they are upset that guys are getting a woman who is interested in them instead of the guy spending their life being a beast of burden (which is the reason they marry). Don't let these women's "issues" become your issues. Go for it and enjoy. Guys who marry foreign women are a blessing for them (unless the guy is a jerk). They know the life they are getting is much better than they would ever have their and are grateful for love and a good life. Just be careful you are not taken in by a woman running a scam (marry you take your $ and split). But don't listen to anyone who tells you that it's all a scam.
